Richard Abel: Elegancia

This dazzling show takes the audience back to Vienna with its luxurious ballrooms and dance halls. Dominated by tuxedos and long flowing evening gowns, the air was filled with the great musical compositions of the 1800's featuring music fo Mozart and Johan Strauss. Elegancia will remind audiences of the large picturesque and elegant halls where people celebrated their history and culture through dance and music.

Richard Abel, pianist extraordinaire, and Canada's best selling instrumentalist is featured in this show accompanied by a string orchestra outfitted in gorgeous gowns circa 1800. Not only a gifted artist, Richard Abel is also an outstanding showman. The show features the romantic music of Strauss, Mozart and Larner including songs from Richard Roger's "The Sound of Music". Other songs featured include "Ferniculi Ferniculi", "Christmas Waltz", "Romance in Three-Four Time" and "Violins in Love". Wonderful Christmas music is also incorporated to celebrate the season.
